Risk and Compliance Officer - Newark

The role:
 
The successful candidate will work alongside our Risk and Compliance team and report to our Risk and Compliance Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an administrative role but most importantly they will have an excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team whilst still being accurate and thorough. Ultimately, they will be good at detailed work, quick to learn and IT literate.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

•    General compliance administration
•    Completing file opening and database entry
•    Ensuring inboxes are up to date and tasks are dealt with daily.
•    Completing the AML E-ID checks so the company is compliant with the anti-money laundering regulations.
•    Dealing with external file releases
•    Assisting the Risk and Compliance Manager with reviewing proof of funds and source of wealth evidence. 
•    Assisting the Risk and Compliance Manager with monthly file audits. 
•    Assisting the Risk and Compliance Manager in dealing with breaches and complaints and maintaining detailed logs with evidence. 

Hours of Work: 09.00 – 17.15 – Monday to Friday (36.25 per week) 
Location: Newark 
Salary: Dependent upon experience

Educated to GCSE/A level standard 

Relevant experience in a compliance officer role.

Knowledge

IT literate/ability to use online systems efficiently

Previous experience with  Microsoft packages.

OtherThe ability to travel between Chattertons offices would be desirable therefore a full driving licence and access to a car is preferable but not essential.
