Licensing Application Pricing in Relation to Businesses

Applications for new premises licences and variations to existing licences for alcohol sales and or public entertainment
LICENSING APPLICATIONS ARE DONE ON A FIXED FEE BASIS OF £900 + VAT (which at 20% is £1,080)
Includes: Completing licence application
Excludes: Local Authority licensing fee, newspaper fees for advertising, any other disbursements
PERSONAL LICENCE APPLICATIONS FOR ALCOHOL SALES
The submission of the application is usually done on a fixed fee basis of £350 plus VAT (which at 20% is £420)
Includes: Completing licence application
Excludes: The Local Authority Fees and dealing with representations and Licensing Hearings when opposed.
TEMPORARY EVENT NOTICE RELATING TO ALCOHOL SALES AND OR PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT
The submission of the application is usually done on a fixed fee basis of £350 plus VAT (which at 20% is £420)
Includes: Completing licence application
Excludes: The Local Authority Fees and dealing with representations and Licensing Hearings when opposed.
REVIEW OF LICENCE
It is very difficult to advise on the cost of dealing with any reviews of an alcohol/entertainment licence as much depends on the grounds for the review, the evidence required and the length of the review hearing. For a review hearing that lasts half a day the costs may be in the region of £1,800 to £2,500 plus VAT (which at 20% is £2,160 to £3,000).

Excludes: Travel time and travel costs
OPERATOR'S LICENCE FOR GAMBLING ACTIVITIES
To submit the application form, depending upon the number of activities covered and whether personal licences are required it is usually in the region of £1400 to £2000 plus VAT (which at 20% is £1,680 to £2,400). If this involves a casino activity, then there is usually an additional fee of £800 plus VAT (which at 20% is £960).
Includes: Completing licence application
Excludes: The fees of The Gambling Commission, disbursements and dealing with any representations.
PREMISES LICENCE APPLICATIONS FOR GAMBLING ACTIVITIES
The submission of the application is usually done on a fixed fee basis of £750 plus VAT (which at 20% is £900). If a casino activity is included then there is usually an additional fee of £500 plus VAT (which at 20% is £600).
Includes: Completing licence application
Excludes: The fees of the Local Authority, newspaper advertising fees, other disbursements, e.g for a scaled plan and for dealing with representations if opposed.
GAMING MACHINE PERMITS
The submission of the application is usually done on a fixed fee basis of £300 plus VAT (which at 20% is £360).
Includes: Completing licence application
Excludes: The fees of the Local Authority, disbursements and dealing with representations if opposed.
