Chattertons Charity of the Year 2024

We are delighted to announce that Chattertons Charity of the Year 2024 is Cash for Kids Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across our region.

Our target is to raise at least £10,000 to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness or neglect or have additional needs.

Each year, Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management, which has eight offices across Lincolnshire and in Newark, raise funds for a charity nominated and voted for by our staff. In the past we have supported various charities, including the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, Stroke Association and most recently our 2023 Charity of the Year was Dementia UK.

Nikki, Charity Manager at Cash for Kids said: “One of the most important aspects of Cash for Kids is that every penny we raise goes towards helping children living in poverty in our local area. We have had the privilege of making a real difference in the lives of families.”

Katherine Bunting, Partner and Head of the Charity Committee at Chattertons said: "In 14 years of the Charity of the Year at Chattertons this is the first time we have chosen a charity that helps the youngest members of our community – children. They are our future and it is so sad to see the struggles and difficulties faced by so many children and young people locally. We're really excited to do our bit in 2024 to help make a difference for kids locally facing challenging times."

FUNDRAISING EVENTS

Our launch event took place on Tuesday, 23rd January 2024 and saw staff members wearing pink and lime green (the Cash for Kids colours) and each office marked the occasion by cutting a Cash for Kids coloured ribbon.
