Chattertons raise over £11,000 for Cash for Kids
Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management, which has eight offices across Lincolnshire and in Newark, held a series of fundraising events both in house and with clients and contacts over the past year for their chosen charity of the year for 2024, Cash for Kids Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across our region.
On Thursday January 16, Hannah Clark, Charity Manager at Cash for Kids, visited Chattertons Lincoln office where Katherine Bunting and other charity committee members met for a presentation.
Hannah Clark said, the incredible support of Chattertons has allowed us to support local disadvantaged children within Lincolnshire through emergency grants and our annual Cash for Kids Day and Mission Christmas campaigns. This year Cash for Kids distributed gifts to 10,105 children across Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, who would have otherwise gone without a gift at Christmas. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. We are a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most, and we simply couldn’t continue the work we do without the help we have received from Chattertons. Thank you for all that you do and for helping us at Cash for Kids, make a difference!
Katherine Bunting, Partner and Head of Chattertons Charity Committee, said, “Our fund-raising events included sponsored walks, quizzes, bake sales, sweepstakes and a skydive! The total figure raised of at least £11,648.00, exceeds our target for the year and is a fantastic achievement. We also collected a huge number of donated gifts for CFK's Mission Christmas 2024 and three members of staff volunteered for a day at Mission HQ helping to distribute Christmas gifts to over 10,000 vulnerable and disadvantaged children in our area”
“We are now busy planning a calendar of fundraising events for Anthony Nolan, which was chosen as the 2025 Charity of The Year following a staff vote. Our official launch day will take place on Tuesday January 21.”
Thank you everyone for your continued support.
